When asked what the best part about his wish, Gage smiled and said, “Knowing that it will live on forever.”

-Thirteen-year-old Gage received his wish to be a police officer at last year's Walk For Wishes.

September 15, 2013
Marymoor Park, Redmond
8:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

At last year’s Walk For Wishes, our local Make-A-Wish® chapter granted Gage’s wish to be a police officer. Take the first step in making wishes come true for children like Gage and join us at this year’s family-friendly 5K walk and fun run.

Registration is FREE and those who raise $100 or more by August 23 will receive a commemorative Walk For Wishes T-shirt.

PRIZES: The top individual fundraiser will be awarded two roundtrip tickets from Alaska Airlines! Additionally, the top fundraising corporate team and friends & family team will be awarded with prizes.

NEW this year: At this year’s Walk For Wishes, we want to see your costumes! Wish kids like Gage remind us that heroes come in all forms - who’s your hero? Dust off your superhero cape or throw on your fire fighter gear. Whether you want to come dressed as your favorite superhero, princess, wizard or other fanciful figure – you will be walking among heroes! Prizes will be awarded for most team spirit and best individual costume.

So, come out on Sunday, September 15 to Marymoor Park and enjoy a morning of fitness, snacks, kids’ activities, wish inspiration and entertainment with your family and friends.

Better Business Bureau Giving Disclosure: Make-A-Wish is assessed a nominal processing fee for each online registration and/or online donations.
